Tacony Community Development Corporation Launches the “Tacony Hoagie Trail”

Food, history, and fun come together on the Tacony Hoagie Trail. Three of the best hoagie shops in Philadelphia are located within the Tacony neighborhood along Torresdale Avenue. DeNofa’s Deli, Fink’s Hoagies, and Jack’s Place have all joined together in the cooperative effort. “Tacony is truly home to great hoagies. This new trail links three shops together with a walking trail, hoagie history, and user-generated reviews,” said Mike Scotese owner of the Grey Lodge Pub and Tacony CDC board member. “Users can either visit the website or scan the code their smartphone and get menus, reviews, and all of this great stuff. If you love food you’ll love the Hoagie Trail.”

The trail is accessible by car from Interstate 95 at the Cottman Ave or Princeton Ave exits or by SEPTA Regional Rail Trenton Line. Ample parking is available along the avenue for only 50 cents per hour. Visit the website at taconycdc.org.

The mission of the Tacony Community Development Corporation is to improve the neighborhood of Tacony in Philadelphia.
